The Restricted Operators Certificate Aeronautical (ROC-A) is a radio communications examination administered by Industry Canada. A passing grade of 70% or more is required on a closed book exam. Candidates must present a government-issued ID at the time of the exam. The ROC-A assessment focuses on communication skills, specifically the ability to convey information verbally.
